Color and symbol, not color alone
An egg shows icons. You must match both color and symbol. Community all-paint routes and official clips keep naming the same five station types:
- Yellow star
- Pink heart
- Blue fish
- Purple cat
- Green paw
A pink star easel will not stamp a pink heart egg. A purple paw is not a purple cat. If the shell still looks unfinished, you skipped a stamp, not the machine.
Walk into the matching easel while holding the egg. The stamp should appear on the shell. Repeat until every icon is painted. Only then use an incubator. Incubating early is why hatches do nothing.
Floor 1 stations and the official first egg
Learn the loop on Floor 1 before you carry a four-icon egg past Floor 2 teachers.
Pink heart. F84’s first example is still the cleanest tutorial: hit the cafeteria button, drop, take the egg, sneak a guarded room, run a maze, then paint at the pink heart easel in the next space. Community all-paint videos also put a pink heart near the Floor 1 elevator in a room with two switches.
Yellow star. Community routes place this on Floor 1 after the cafeteria scratching-post pit: take the portal out of the room below the giant post, then use the vent to the star easel.
Read the egg before you leave the pit. If it only wants a heart, skip the star. If it wants both, chain heart then star on the same floor so a tag does not dump you in the Floor 1 lobby with a half-painted shell.
Floor 2 and Floor 3 stations
You cannot paint a Floor 2 easel until you can stand in that lobby. Use Unlock Floor 2 and Floor 3 if the lift and lily-pad gauntlet still eat the session. Morph names on those stories sit on Floor 2 friends and Floor 3 friends; paint is a separate collection.
Blue fish. Community paint maps put this on Floor 2 inside a long obby that connects to a yarn ball puzzle room. Yarn is a school tool, not a Robux flex. Shop Gear covers when to roll it versus buying Catnip for the hallway after detention.
Purple cat. Look for a wooden door out of a Floor 2 maze. Keep the camera up. Teachers in that wing ignore Teacher’s Pet morphs; hall monitors still tag you with an egg in your hands.
Green paw. Community all-paint runs finish on Floor 3 in a trophy room off the gym. That is why a four-stamp egg that includes a paw is a gym errand, not a cafeteria detour. Budget a walk-back: detention always returns the Floor 1 lobby, egg included.
Friday can add or move an easel. If a named station is gone, walk the same wing, then check Friday drops. This wiki will not invent a sixth icon or a code that paints the shell for you.
Multi-stamp eggs, incubators, detention
Some eggs want one icon. Later eggs want two, three, or four. Paint every matching station before the incubator. A heart-plus-star egg that only visited the heart will sit in the machine and waste the run.
Carry the egg the whole time. Detention keeps the egg but respawns you in the Floor 1 lobby. You did not lose the shell. You lost position, keys, and any yarn you had rolled. Plan a route that can survive a tag, or wear Teacher’s Pet and pack Smelly Fish from Shop Gear before the long Floor 2 obby.
Incubators are separate machines. After the last stamp, place the egg, wait, hatch. The Little Friend follows you. It is not a playable hall-monitor shield and it is not a Floor 1 locker cat.
What you should not paint
How to Find Gnaw is a Secret Cat Friend hunt, not a nest. Angel and Lucifur need the Busted Teleport Remote. Sapphire is a Floor 1 wall clip. None of those hatch. If you are holding an egg in the gym looking for Gnaw, you mixed two collections.
Codes do not stamp eggs. There is no permanent public list. Codes and how to redeem only if a redeem box appears. Holiday weeks can hide extra nests; check limited-time friends if an egg looks event-themed.
A clean session: cafeteria egg, read icons, Floor 1 stations first, incubate if done, go upstairs only for remaining stamps. One hatch is enough for a follower. Re-walk stations after Fridays.
