Floor 2 Walkthrough for Play Cats Morphs Friend Rescue
Lobby unlock, Glitch odds, yarn puzzles, and Congo parkour.
Floor 2 is the second story of Cat-School: its own lobby, denser puzzles, and Glitch, which is extremely rare. Detention still dumps you on Floor 1. If you need tap-to-rescue or the lift gauntlet, read Getting Started and Floor 1 first. Names below are hunt clusters, not a timestamp per morph. Friday can slide a spawn.
How to reach the Floor 2 lobby
Two legal ways:
- Finish Floor 1. High button, glowing tiles, platforms, blue key, box-hide past the teacher, maze, button, lift. That is the free unlock F84 showed in their own clip.
- Teleport. Shop teleport (or later remote rolls) can drop you into the Floor 2 lobby without the gauntlet.
Dying here costs a full walk back to Floor 1 unless you teleport again. Morph into a Teacher’s Pet before the first classroom if you have one — teachers ignore those morphs, which matters on lily-pad rooms and key doors. Bring yarn: Floor 2 uses it as a bridge, door opener, and button-roller. Shop Gear covers Catnip for hallway recovers, Smelly Fish for choke-point stuns, and Spring Shoes for lily pads and Congo.
Lobby and early friends
Open halls: Atlas, Pepper, Coda, Snowy, Mr. Wiggles, Ruby, Clover. Grab anything sitting out so a later detention is not a blank. Cat Toon is the cartoon in a cage — the cage is the hunt. Catnievel is the stunt-name on the same circuit. Neither is Glitch luck; look up.
Classrooms, studio rooms, and yarn tricks
The middle of Floor 2 is themed rooms that look like electives:
- Music and art: DeeJay, Mondrian, Mimeow, Merlin, Ashley, Tilly
- Staff jokes: Dr. Paws, Purrfessor, Cat in Black, Sarge
- Food and bright palettes: Juicy, PB&J, Blush, Pastel
- Critters and costumes: Bear, Panda, Boongus, Cluckers, Catula, Pinky, Flamingo, Monkey, Mewchador
CatBot is the yarn-bridge example a lot of players remember: you roll or drop the ball to cross a gap or trigger a path that a jump cannot solve. If a room has a gap with no platform, try yarn before Spring Shoes.
Striker, Hoppy, Snuggly, Lizzie, Blazer, Ace, and Judy sit in club rooms here — not the Floor 3 sports set. Dusty, Nessie, Furia Peluda, Chester, Gizmo, Scratch, Dipper, Spawtan, Ninja, and Polly fill remaining mascot holes. Sweep vents and top shelves. Keys stay red, green, and blue, but Floor 2 pickups are separate from Floor 1; detention means you reclear the key room.
Congo, parkour, blue-key door
Congo is community parkour above the blue-key door, not the obvious floor path. If the blue door is open and Congo is missing, look up and jump the ledge circuit. Spring Shoes help timing; they do not replace it. Clear the nearby teacher first (Teacher’s Pet or Smelly Fish). Catnip does not fix a missed ledge.
Glitch is extremely rare
Glitch is a Floor 2 secret, not a lobby tap. Do not stall a normal clear waiting on it. Hunt notes: Secret Friends. An empty room is usually odds, not a broken server. Angel and Lucifur are not Floor 2 desk cats — they come from the Busted Teleport Remote room.
Path onward to Floor 3
Not a second lobby lift. Official unlock: lily pads, teacher hallway, yarn doors, maze, four-button obby (yarn can hit the last button), blue key, more lily pads, vent crawl for the red key, red door, one extra lily pad, gym. If that eats the session, stop — detention sends you to Floor 1 anyway. Bookmark Floor 3 and return with Spring Shoes plus a Teacher’s Pet morph.
Holiday cats can guest on Floor 2. Check limited-time friends and Friday drops before you tear a studio apart. Yarn, keys, and looking up finish more of this list than Catnip. Open Shop Gear only for the jump you already failed twice.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Cat-School rescues, morphs, and Friday drops.
How do I unlock Floor 2?
Finish the Floor 1 lift gauntlet or teleport into the Floor 2 lobby. Detention still respawns you on Floor 1, so learn the Floor 1 walk back.
Where is Glitch?
On Floor 2, and it is extremely rare. Do not block a normal clear waiting for it. Hunt notes live on Secret Friends.
Where is Congo?
Community routes place Congo on parkour above the blue-key door. Look up after you have the blue key; Spring Shoes help the ledges.
Do I need yarn on Floor 2?
Yes, often. Yarn opens doors, bridges gaps (CatBot is the famous example), and rolls onto buttons. Item timing is in Shop Gear.
How do I reach Floor 3 from here?
Lily pads, yarn, a four-button obby, blue key, vents for a red key, then the red door. Full gym notes are on Floor 3.
